If you buy this product get ready for a damaged remote sensor soon. and you will have to pay more for repair. Other wise have a good walk from the couch to tv to mute/unmute sound……….I think I will go for other brand for any electronic product i buy in the future definitely NOT this brand
When you go out looking for the best LCD HDTV, you need to consider this a s being an activity that is more of an art rather than an out and out purchase, because when the first LCD TV hit the market, it was only available in small size, though now it is available in sizes up to even fifty inches in diameter, which makes Philips 37 inch lcd tv it all the more necessary to learn about which one to buy and which to ignore. Furthermore, whether you are buying a large screen or one with a small screen, each type will have certain flaws in them.
No Flaws, Or One With Least Number Of Flaws
Thus, the best LCD HDTV would obviously be one that does not have any of these flaws, or the least number of them such as things like not having low contrast ratios, slow refresh rates as well as not wide enough angle of viewing. However, you can easily determine which the best LCD HDTV is if you take simple precautions before buying one, especially by choosing from among big brand names such as Sony,
So glad I went with the Philips who is with me on this.?
Well went to Best Buy with my wife a week ago and bought a new set up for my living room. Purchased the HTS 8100/37 from Philips and an insignia 37 inch lcd which did not leave the store. The day after I did a little research on Insignia and Philips 37 inch lcd tv they are made from throw away parts from Samsung Lg Soney etc etc. they are then put together in some factory in China that has no QA I also read thousands of horror stories about them. Needless to say the next day I returned the Insignia before taking it home and bought a 37" Philips instead and am very happy. This is not a question but more a statement. If you are investing in an LCD or Plasma buy a known brand from Japan. The few hundred more I am sure will make all the difference in the long run. Any one else buy an Insignia tv???? Any problems. I learned by other peoples mistakes.
