This TV mount is the worse one I have ever used. The TV sagged a full inch over the length of the extended arm. It was very difficult to move the arm once the TV was installed. It does not even come close to being able to support the rated weight of 55 lbs. Furthermore, the seller would not refund the purchase price. Do yourself a favor, stear clear of this mount and the seller.

For the price, a good value. It works as intended. Holes and hardware (screws furnished) lined up well. Even with a small TV it is a two person job. Most important is to use a level for installation as once unit is on the wall the “head” can not be rotated. Outside of that slight problem this is a good unit for the price. Package came right to house in two days via USPS, standard shipping. Hard to believe isn’t it? Express shipping would have cost more and probably would not have arrived any sooner.

Came as promised. Built in level which is nice. Mounted quickly and securely. My only disappointment is that is it sold by Cheetah Mounts which has a good name for itself but the mount does not have anything on it to identify it as from them. Looks like anyone else’s mount (it’s made in china so it probably is). Amazon’s price was cheaper than anywhere else I found. Their tech support answered quickly and was very friendly. All hardware included. Very nice mount, it’s holding my new SONY 46″ Bravia XBR.

This mount is heavy , lot of steel !! very sturdy , when installed It project about 6″ from wall For 39 $ it is a good deal . The lock after hanging the tv is not that great it could have been better . TV can be slided side to side but it does not allow tiltimg side by side . There is some room for up down tilting . Recommend this product to any one who looks for strong mount, needed some flexibility for horizontal positioning . Comes with many mounting screws . Make sure you install this to studs .

Like nearly all Samsung TVs, this TV looks good both on and off. Picture looked much better than comparably priced TVs on display at a large electronics store. Bought in December 2008, and TV worked well initially. After 5 months, the main board failed (TV display would not come on and several inputs simultaneously stopped working). After the warranty repair, TV worked well for 8 more months. Shortly after the warranty expired, the display would flicker several times within 10 seconds of being turned on, then remain off. Sound would continue to work, but no picture. Display occasionally would remain on, but required many attempts.

I have owned this TV for (15) months now. The delay in coming on started about (3) months ago.At first it was taking about a minute to display a picture and sound(except for the little melody)played on startup.
The the delay got longer and longer.As of today the set takes (7) minutes plus to display a picture and sound. The little startup melody just plays over and over to a blank screen.
Also in the DVD mode (I have satelite) the sound has to be turned up to around 40% to hear it clearly. No I am not hearing impaired.
I expected more from a set this expensive.Maybe I just got a lemon. I will think twice before my next Samsung purchase.
